I had one like that with an mp3 player <br />maybe 10 years ago.  Dunno why it was made that way.<br /><br />Try another USB cable and see if that works<br /><br />]]>

Give it a second and <br />your phone should show up in Windows Explorer. Usually <br />something like Galaxy9. Click on the Galaxy9 icon in <br />Explorer to expand the folder. Look for a DCIM folder and <br />then inside that should be a camera folder you open. Your <br />pictures should be inside the camera folder.]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://top40musiconcd.com/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=49">MMathews</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 9100<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 30&nbsp;May&nbsp;2019 at 3:35pm<br /><br />Ed,<br />My boss's Samsung phone comes with a USB charger cable <br />that has a standard USB plug at one end and the micro-usb <br />end that plugs into the phone. <br />When he plugs the standard end into the PC it <br />automatically asks him if he wants to transfer the photos <br />onto his PC. The phone also shows up as a "drive" in the <br />windows explorer and he can access the photo folder on <br />the phone that way. All Android phones should have this <br />same option. <br /><br />Have you tried looking in explorer to see if the phone <br />shows up there?  I'd recommend have your explorer opened <br />and watch the drive letters as you plug it in because its <br />drive letter may not identify itself as the phone.<br />MM]]>
