I would preferred they included those songs <br />instead of repeating songs that already appeared on his <br />other compilations to that point. (Who knew then how <br />many times his catalog would be compiled since using the <br />same core set of songs over and over and over....)<br /><br />BTW - was "No Valentines" ever released as a single <br />anywhere?]]>

His "Love Songs" compilation somewhat <br />served that purpose, but pulled songs from his <br />previous hits collections and excluded many of his <br />hits since his third hits set on Geffen which mostly <br />didn't fit the "love" theme:<br /><br />*  I Don't Wanna Go On With You Like That<br />*  A Word In Spanish<br />*  Healing Hands<br />*  Club At The End Of The Street<br />*  You Gotta Love Someone<br />*  The Last Song<br />*  Simple Life<br />*  True Love<br />*  Made In England]]>

The same thing happened when <br />I used to hear Poco's "Heart Of The Night", I could have <br />sworn what I heard was shorter than what's on the 45 and <br />album, but no shorter promo there either in that case. <br />Probably in-house edits on both, I Guess. ]]>
