Great story, Mark! I remember buying my first Record Research book - the same one you bought, as it was around 1982. And hearing you guys talk about Joel getting started
in all this brought back my very fond memory of

It was 1982 and in a book store with my Dad. I was
browsing the music section and my eyes fell on "The
Billboard Book Of Top 40 Hits"....I was in awe. My Dad
