Yeah, those of us who participated online saw the person's actual name under their "box" on the screen. The thing is ... a lot of people use monikers here so even knowing a person's real name (as we saw it on the screen), it didn't always connect in my mind to the moniker they use here.

That's why when I started talking, I mentioned I was EdisonLite, because people were only seeing my real name.

Paul, maybe at the next meeting, in addition to announcing their names at the end (or beginning), maybe people could also mention the names they use here.

I would have loved to have joined in but
as it happened, my workplace scheduled me
on Sunday, which they've rarely done in
the last year that I've been in that
store, but they're doing more so as the
holidays come upon us.

Also, while I have zoom on my not-so-smart
phone, I've never once used it. That
shouldn't be too surprising, I don't even
like to make phone calls on it... but its
different being able to see the people
you're talking to, and since many of us
have been on this board for years,
watching the video felt like seeing a
reunion of old friends, and I think it
would be cool to take part in a future one

Please keep in mind that this was our first attempt at something like this, so we were pretty much just winging it.

We could see our names on each screen during the meeting, but those names did not port over to the video. If you listen closely, you can here some names here and there. We did our introductions prior to the recording, but next time we will do it afterwards. It's hard to ID everybody, because our positions on the screen change as people come and go. Also, there were a couple that joined by audio only.

I guess my suggestion would be if you want to know who everybody is, join the next one!

I'm in the same boat, Mark... I work nights, and it was
at 11 a.m. my time, which is like 4 a.m. to most people.
Maybe I can join the next one.

It was fun to watch the video, though. Wish I knew who
