It may have even <br />been played by Kiss108 once in a while.  This is why when it was released <br />nationally in mid 1994, it felt 'old' to me, and I never knew the real reason for <br />the mainstream re-release.]]>

Don't think I heard it then at all, <br />though I moved to the west coast for a couple years in <br />late '75 and heard it a lot (presumably as a recurrent) <br />then.<br />]]>

All of them had been released as <br />singles months before but did little or <br />nothing until they won the Oscar. They <br />were "The Morning After" by Maureen <br />McGovern in 1973 (from  <em>The Poseidon <br />Adventure</em>); "I'm Easy" by Keith <br />Carradine in 1976 (from <em>Nashville</em>); <br />and "Gonna Fly Now" by Bill Conti in 1977 <br />(from  <em>Rocky</em>).<span style="font-size:10px"><br /><br />Edited by TimNeely</span>]]>
