I've tried Chrome, Safari and Edge and had the same problem.

The only time it didn't happen was when I briefly used a Windows 7 Explorer browser on my old music drive.

Another user (crapfromthepast) provided a helpful near-solution, which is to drag the 'post reply' text box from its bottom-right corner. However
wide you set the window is where the line breaks will go. (As in this sentence I just typed).

Hope that helps!

    Author: mjb50
Subject: 9596
Posted: 13 May 2021 at 9:10pm

Whenever I post, or edit a post, the system puts in line breaks to match the size of the edit box. The
line breaks are inserted right where the right edge of the edit window was.

When viewing my own posts, if I don't have my browser window sized to the original post size or bigger,
then the automatic wrapping combines with the line breaks to make things really ugly, with the last few
words of each line ending up on the line below, with nothing after them.

I've tried re-editing my posts to fix this, but doesn't seem to be possible.

I see it happening in some other people's posts, but the vast majority don't seem to have any forced
breaks in them. Any idea what's going on?
