More accurately, commercial copies all run 3:58. Some promo copies run 3:58, while others run 3:22 (printed 3:17). Here's the promo matching the commercial 45:

Sure thing, Paul! Also, I pulled the vinyl LP this morning, and my copy has a printed time of 4:19 but an actual time of 3:58. here much less start a new topic, but I remembered to search here first,
before opening a new topic. If all I need to do is chop off 36 seconds, then
I can make the promo 45 version myself.

That’s the Promo 45 I was talking about. You may want to verify the time on
your album , but Discogs does list it at 4:19. I have “The Legendary Pointer
