Here are some disco remakes I recently discovered (and like a lot), which is
what led me to even ask the question. If any of you are into disco remakes,
you should check these out. They're all on YouTube, only just a few on
Spotify.

Two other artists remade their own hits into disco songs
in 1976, Percy Faith's "Summer Place '76" and Bobby Hebb's

Bobby Rydell recorded a disco version of "Sway" in 1976 (his original was a top 15 hit in late 1960). Frankie Avalon recorded a disco version of "Venus" and hit the top of BB's AC chart in early 1976.
Barbra Streisand covered the Four Tops in early 1976 with a disco version of "Shake Me, Wake Me (When It's Over)." Karen Silver did a "Knock On Wood"-style remake of "Hold On I'm Coming" in 1979. You can almost see the Arista execs telling her to do that Amii Stewart thing.

Rosebud was a studio creation that did an entire album of Pink Floyd covers in 1977.

Recently, I've really been getting into disco remakes of previous hits. I know all
the top 40 hits that are disco remakes of previous hits (e.g. "Knock on
Wood"/Amii Stewart & "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood"/Santa Esmeralda).

So I'm looking for lower-charting and non-charting singles, and album cuts,
