My commercial 45, which states stereo but sounds like it's in mono to me, has a listed time of (2:49), but an actual time of (2:52).

I just listened to a commercial 45 of the Archies' "Who's Your Baby?" and I agree with Jim that the 45 is in mono, not stereo as stated on the record label. I believe this is one of the few Archies songs that was never mixed in true stereo.

It was mixed for stereo for the LP, but may have been
mixed narrow. My vinyl is still packed, Archies albums are among the few i kept. Currently i only have my mp3 for reference which is wide stereo, but i might have done that to it before encoding the mp3. Sounds like i ripped it from my old import best-of. PM me if you'd like the mp3. MM |
