   For those interested in the promo 45 version, it's one easy edit and an early fade.  The edit is right before the second verse and cuts to the guitar solo after the second chorus.  You essentially edit out 1:25 to 2:40 of the LP version, making the edit just before the vocal "baby."  The length is almost 3:31, with the fade starting at 3:15 (after making the edit).
