The database states the following:
Experience The Divine: Best Of (missing the first :06 ) It should be noted that the first :06 is also missing on "The Rose" soundtrack as well. It not's actually missing....it is included at the end of the previous track titled "concert monologue" The LP version also doesnt fade out like the 45....The audience applause tracks into the next selection. |

Pat... I noticed that you removed the comment "missing the first :06" from "Experience The Divine Miss M" entry.
That comment is correct. "The Rose Soundtrack" includes the :06 seconds however the :06 is included on the previous track which is titled "concert monologue". Does that make sense? |

I understand what you are saying. All live vinyl LP's where there is essentially one continuous track on each side of the vinyl presents problems in indexing when that vinyl LP is released on cd. Who am I to say one cd is missing :06 of an introduction when it is placed at the end of the preceding track? In my opinion, it is best not to comment at all about where stage talk is indexed.

i just saw the dj promo 45 that runs 3:45 on ebay. does anyone know the
actual edit points? it doesn't seem possible (to me) to get it to run that length. unless it's just a fade...? |

It's one easy edit that removes 1:49 to 2:56. The edit occurs after the word "her" (in the line "trying to hold on to her precious love") and picks up after the word "my" (in the line "trying to hold on to my precious love").
It should be noted that you have to start with the correct commercial 45 edit to get the proper promo edit, which means the intro starts off with 1 second of barely audible crowd noise, and then Bette starts speaking "when he...when he..." The song fades to silence at 4:56 of the stock 45 and 3:47 of the promo. Edited by aaronk |
