Was the US single version of "Keeping The Faith" even
issued anywhere else? My Canadian 45 is the LP version. |

That is a great point. These singles collections are supposed to match the Japan 45s so it is possible they also had the LP version as the single. We can't expect these imports to match the US 45 versions for every song. |

The Japan 45 says "Special Mix" on the label, but I don't know if it actually plays that mix or not.

There were two pressings of the 45 in Canada. The first featured the LP version. The second was the 4:44 "special mix". My copy definitely plays the remixed version. Edited by torcan |

Tower Japan has sound samples up now. "Keeping the Faith" is the album version.
