There are two database CDs containing Lil' Bow Wow featuring Xscape's "Bounce with Me", but the run times are 2:55 and 3:21 and there are currently no comments explaining the major length difference. My Promo Only Mainstream Radio subscription CD series contains a "radio remix" of "Bounce with Me" running 3:20, which gels with the longer CD length. The song was issued as a commercial maxi-CD single release which, according to my research, contains an "Album Version", "Radio Remix", and "Extended Remix".
Could anyone who has a "Bounce with Me" commercial or promo single please report the exact track listing and timing info? |

I thought I'd bring this up again since there were no replies the first time around. I'm still looking to get some clarification regarding the longer 3:21 version/length of "Bounce with Me" appearing on the Platinum Hits 2000 CD (Columbia 61586) and on my Promo Only CD subscription series. Does anyone have the song on a commercial or promo single release who can pass along the track listing and run times?

No Bow Wow fans here?
Todd, if you're still looking for the answer to your question, I can tell you that the song was released on two albums, Bow Wow's "Beware of Dog" CD and the "Big Momma's House" Soundtrack. The shorter version (2:55) is on "Beware of Dog." A longer version (3:21) is on the soundtrack. I don't have the promo so I don't know which version is considered the "album version" and know nothing about the "Radio remix" or the "extended remix." Further, never having heard your Promo Only CD, I can only assume that its 3:21 "radio remix" is the same version as what's on "Big Momma's House" but that is only an assumption based on the run times. Hope this helps. Also, should the "Big Momma's House" Soundtrack be in the database? It is not. |

Good catch, JL328, and thank you for the new info. I don't have either Bow Wow's Beware of Dog CD nor the Big Momma's House soundtrack, but hopefully someone who does can perform the remaining analysis needed here regarding the commercial single release and finally close the book on this one.
