Being that this song isn't listed in the database, (though it reach #15 on Billboard) does anyone know if "Now That's What I Call Music Vol.16 contains the recognized hit version?

It does. The only difference between that version and the one on the CD is that the strings at the end fade sooner.

Guys, I was definitely in "promo CD single semi-retirement" by 2004, but I do still happen to own one promo CD single for "Everytime" - an officially-issued-by-Jive/Zomba, non-numbered CD-R, released as "Remixes". I don't have the first-issued, "primary" promo CD single for it. My promo, however, includes two tracks:

1-Everytime (Hi-Bias Radio Mix) (listed 3:29; actual 3:27)
2-Everytime (Valentin Remix) (listed 3:25; actual 3:24)

So this confuses me, which got more airplay the Hi-Bias Radio Mix or the slow version. I recall hearing the Dr. Octavo Translucent Mixhow Radio Edit more than either version (edited to 4:12 for radio and faded early) and the slower version...anyone have a good memory of what version got played?

Slow version which clearly got some airplay

Favorite two expressions to live by on this board: "You can't download vinyl" and "Not everything is available on CD."
