Iheart is playing a version with an intro rather then the vocal beginning...anyone have it? Thanks...
Favorite two expressions to live by on this board: "You can't download vinyl" and "Not everything is available on CD."

Promo Only has an intro edit that starts out with a
drumbeat.

I have the digital single version of Rose and Bruno Mars's "APT", which I purchased as a lossless download from the Qobuz website. It contains a :06 spoken intro in which two giggling females are chanting something in, what I assume is, Korean at first and then conclude by shouting "GAME... START!" right before the song's opening drumbeat kicks in. So, perhaps the version you're hearing on IHeart, PopArchivist, could simply be the digital single version with the spoken intro edited out (like what appears to be on John's Promo Only DJ subscription track)?

Actually Todd, I have the same version as you with the same
:06 spoken intro.

The 'intro edit' has an :12 instrumental beginning. Over
the years, they've serviced many "intro edits' designed for
mobile DJ's to mix in and out of a song.

It's possible that the instrumental beginning that Rich
heard on his iHeart station may be the very same intro edit
version from Promo Only.
