Edtop40 you can also find the cassingle version of "I Wish" by Skee-lo on Beast 53302, a US cd titled Summer Jammin'.

I just picked up my copy of The Hit List CD and noticed that this disc also includes a 4:14 version of Run DMC's "Down with the King". Is this a radio edit? I ask because every CD appearance of this song in the 10th Edition of Top 40 Hits on Compact Disc is listed with a 5:02 run time.

I e-mailed edtop40 and he reports that the cassingle of "Down with the King" (Profile 5391) contains the "vocal" version which is listed at 5:20 on the sleeve, but actually runs a few seconds longer at 5:23. He says the 4:15 version is indeed the radio edit from the promo CD single. Thanks, edtop40!
Getting back to Brian W.'s original post that started this whole thread regarding differences between CD, cassette, and vinyl singles of a particular song. It was determined on another message thread that the single and vinyl 45 of Green Jello/Jelly's "Three Little Pigs" are both different. |
