My commercial 45, confirmed as Laurie 3021, has a listed time of (2:25), but an actual time of (2:34).

Jim, our commercial 45 (Laurie 3021) states a time of (2:35). The deadwax info is ZTSP28658 - 2A |

Paul, I have just double-checked my Laurie 3021 45 copy's listed time, and it absolutely says (2:25). My deadwax info is very different than yours, however. On the label, it says "K8OW 0035", while the groove deadwax has a machine-printed "K8OW-0035--1E", with a handwritten "A1" at the end. So it appears that our two 45s were pressed at entirely different pressing plants, Paul!

Sounds like Paul's was a Columbia pressing (styrene) while Jim's is an RCA pressing (vinyl). Laurie used both plants frequently for many of their early releases....i tend to look for the vinyl pressings whenever i'm able to.
