Is The Single version at 4:03 the true hit version or is it the 7 Inch Remix at 3:49 which radio played. I seem to recall the 7 inch remix getting airplay on the radio and it did not having the electronic sounding 7 second intro.

Like so many 90s songs, it depends on what your definition
of "true hit version" is. My commercial 45 (Epic 34 77756, no time shown) has the electronic intro. The single is b/w "Turn The Beat Around". At one time I also had the cassette single which had this version on one side and the 7" remix on the other. During it's chart run we played the electronic intro version, it's all we were serviced with. At some point in the song's chart run we substituted the remix, which was dubbed from a borrowed HitDisc (or Jones equivalent). |
