"My Way" - Usher

   I recently ran across a promo CD single of Usher's "My Way" online and it indicated the following track listing:

1) Remix (Radio Version)

2) Album (Radio Version)

3) Remix w/ JD

4) Album Version

(Sorry, I don't have any information on the run times nor the promo disc's catalog number.)

I always thought the album version was the one primarily played on Top 40 radio.  Is anyone familiar with the "Remix (Radio Version)" or the Album (Radio Version)" who can describe what exactly makes them differ from the album version?

	I posted some info on this song a while back on the "usher top 40 hits" thread. Here's my original post regarding "My Way": If I remember correctly, the video uses the LP version; however, this was not the hit version played on the radio. The promo single has a version called "Remix (Radio Version)" which removes the annoying chatter in the background and adds some instrumentation to make the song more "pop" sounding. To my knowledge, this version has only appeared on the promo single. The closest thing to this mix that has been commercially released is the "Remix with J.D." which is on the commercial CD maxi single. I own the promo single. Here's the actual run time information: 1. 3:37 2. 3:32 3. 3:37 4. 3:36 Todd correctly identifies the versions in the above post. Our station only played cut number 1. The LP version, IMO, is highly annoying with JD jabbering all the way through.

	Ah! Thanks for reminding me of that excellent Usher thread you put together a while back, Aaron! And now that you mention it, you're right... My local radio stations played the "Remix (Radio Version)" of "My Way" as well. I forgot all about the fact that Jermaine Dupri chatters throughout the album version.
