this one is a real beauty!!!

keeping in mind billboard listed the catalog number rca 9099 as the official single version, which is actually the cassingle's catalog number while the 45's catalog number is 9098.....

the 45 issued as 9098 contains as the a-side the "radio mix" which runs 3:51 (stated as 3:50) which also happens to be indentical to the full cd/lp version running 3:51

the cassingle, the official billboard listed single, contains the "radio mix" as the second track on the cassingle

the full cassingle track listing is below

1-elliot wolff 12" (5:35)
2-radio mix (3:50)
3-wingate 12" house remix (7:15)
4-wingate house dub remix (6:04)

so this one is tricky as to which track should be the "official" version....

Me personally, I would consider the "radio mix" as the official single version since that was always the one I heard on Armed Forces radio back when I lived in Germany. I'd be interested to see if anyone remembers the Elliot Wolf 12" getting any airplay on their local stations.
