Although there is not a notation next to the After 7 hit "Ready Or Not," all 7" vinyl copies I have seen online list the "Edit" (printed 3:58) as the A-side (b/w Instrumental). Unless Pat is going off the cassette single, which very well may contain the LP version, an "LP version" notation should probably be listed next to all CDs in the database.

The vinyl 45 states a time of 3:58 but runs 3:53.

Here are instructions for creating the 45 edit from the LP version; timings taken from LP version on Pump Up The Hits (PolyTel Canada 845096-2, 1990):

Keep the first 7 beats after the intro from 0:00.0-0:07.1.
Edit on downbeat, I think (it's really tough to tell where the edits are; plus or minus a beat is virtually inaudible to my ears).
Remove the 8 beats between 0:07.1-0:13.9.
Keep the 13 beats from 0:13.9-0:24.9.
Edit on snare, I think.
Remove the 16 beats from 0:24.9-0:38.4.
Keep 0:38.4-4:38.4 (end).
The fade on the 45 begins about where it does on the LP version, but ends at about 3:52 in mixdown time, which is about 20 seconds quicker than the LP fade.

Your mixdown will have edits at 0:07.1 and 0:18.1 and will run about 3:52.

Revisiting "Ready or Not"... I share Aaron's opinion that an "LP version" notation should be listed next to all CDs in the database.
