My promo CD single for this (ESK 1225) has the following:
1-(Short Version) (listed 4:09; actual 4:11) 2-(Long Version) (listed 4:31; actual 4:33) |

Abagon reports the actual commercial 45 run time of Europe's "Superstitious" is 4:33 and states "Long Version" on the record label. (The printed time on the label is 4:31.) This appears to be identical to Track 2 on Jim's promo CD single.

The Short Version is a simple edit of the Long Version.
Remove 22 seconds from 3:43 to 4:05 at the word "keep." The dub of the vinyl single I have has the breath at the beginning of the song; many of the Long Versions I have do not. I found the breath on "Monster Madness (Razor & Tie)." Spotify's copy of the source album, "Out Of This World," does have the opening breath. |
