I only own promo 45 copies for this. There is a wide range of timings (3:36 to 3:44) for CDs featuring this song in the database. Both the mono & stereo sides of my promo 45 have a listed time of (3:41), but an actual time of (3:44). This song features a longish, faint-at-the-end fade, which I'm discovering is a major characteristic for songs that happen to fall into this "wider-than-usual-timing-range" scenario.

Since Jim's initial posting above, he has acquired a commercial 45 copy of the Doobie Brothers’ “What a Fool Believes” and tells me it has an actual run time of 3:43. (The printed record label time is 3:41.) At the moment, the database notes only DJ 45 run times for this song.
