my cassingle issued as epic 74337 contains a non described version, but it is a remix...on the sleeve it states "additional production and remix by daniel abraham for white falcon productions"....the cassingle version runs 4:04.......this should be noted in the db....

On the wikipedia page for this song, it says the single remix (which edtop40 describes above) is on Celine's compilation albums "My Love: Ultimate Essential" and "All the Way... Decade of Song". But according to Pat's database, what's on these 2 CDs is neither the single or album version. Can anyone explain what IS on these 2 CDs? Is it just an early-faded version of the album version (minus the first 1:15 of the album which is like a pre-song) - and is it not the remix at all? Or is it the remix faded early or shortened? Is it a different remix?

Love Can Move Mountains is edits of the original album version on the
two comps listed above. The remix remains unreleased on US CD
outside of the original maxi single from 1992.

I haven't posted in...years I think, and thanks to a
chat with Aaron decided to browse around a little, nice
to see familiar names still around! My two cents, in the
US, besides the commercial CD single Glenpwood mentions,
the remix in question can be found on the "Love Can Move
Mountains" US promotional CD (catalog number ESK 74337).

Which version of this song was played on the radio at
the time? I believe that the 4:04 remix (track 2 on the
promo single) was what I heard most in the Chicago area.

I just noticed that the U.S. promo CD features a 4:45
version of "Love Can Move Mountains" as the first track.
I must be remembering correctly after all, as I recall
my local AC station playing the original album version
(without the introduction), which, I assume, is this
version (track 1 on the promo CD). The album version
runs 4:53. Is the 4:45 time incorrect or just faded 8
seconds early?

I just tonight discovered a small difference in this song.

In the Mp3 version I've had for years, (Currently not sure where I got it from), there is an odd difference than the one I just sampled from the original TM Century HitDisc.

Both versions have the a capella intro and then an effect more or less triggers the opening beats. What's different is that effect. My old familiar Mp3 has a truly wicked
electric guitar single strike effect with reverb. The one I just heard on the HitDisc sounds more like a wimpy scratch effect. Now, I'm going to have to see if that Mp3 has
some form of remix tag. I didn't know there was more than one version.

<Dave> Someone please tell I-Heart Radio that St. Louis is not known as The Loo!
