My US CD single 'Bills, Bills, Bills' (Columbia 79175) states album version and a time of 4.16. But the actual runtime is 4.14. According to the db the album run time is 4.15, which is also the time of the UK CD: 'Huge Hits 99' (Warner RADCD 147). This version however, include a intro that is not on the US CD single. Could it be there was a intro on the album version, or was this the case just in this UK version?

Many of the songs on Writing's On The Wall had short spoken intros before the songs. I can't remember if they were at the end of each track or beginning, but is that what you're referring to?

My copy is from RPM Top Hits U.S.A., labeled as a radio edit, runs 3:59 and ends cold.

Regarding Destiny's Child's "Bills, Bills, Bills", there are a couple of CDs in the database where the song runs 3:44 and consists of a comment stating: "LP version faded :31 early".
Did we ever determine if there is a difference between the single and album version? If the two are identical, then it would be more accurate for database CDs containing the 3:44 length to have the comment revised as: "faded :31 early". But if there is a difference between the single and album, then it would be helpful to database subscribers to have "45 version" and "LP version" comments listed next to database CDs where appropriate. Decided to recreate the 3:59 DJ edit. It's one easy
edit. Keep 0:00.00 to 1:09.481 Remove 1:09.481 to 1:24.500 Keep 1:24.500 to the end Resulting file runs 3:59 and ends cold. **Corrected for earlier mistype of numbers. Edited by eriejwg |

This appeared on #1's the greatest hits album by Destiny Child. The only official radio edit is the 3:59. Otherwise the listing is correct, it is an album edit, faded :31 early as the database says. |
