My commercial 45 (confirmed as WB 5802, is styrene, with machine-stamped deadwax of "J A-15030-1C") has a listed time of (2:53) and an actual time of (2:51). I only post this info because the 10 current database CDs that include this song (all stereo) have slightly longer run times, from (2:53) to (2:57). Wouldn't be surprised if my 45 was sped up a bit.

my commercial 45 is like jim's running 2:51 and has the
same deadwax machine stamped markings.....if you pitch up the 2:55 'downtown to sunset blvd' cd version and fade out for 0:02 from 2:53-2:55 of the pitched up version you can effectively re-create the vinyl 45 version... Edited by edtop40 |
