   My U.S. commercial 45 of "String Along" by Fabian (Chancellor 1047) states the run time as (2:25), but I timed it at (2:18).

I timed the other song on this two-sided hit, "About This Thing Called Love", at (2:37). On the three CDs listed in the database the song runs (2:33-2:34). On the only one of these that I have, the Varese Sarabande Best Of, I do not detect a speed difference. The song simply fades out sooner on the CD.
