does anyone have the actual 45 of this song....if so what is the version on the 45???....the database says the 45 runs 4:26 but does not state a version........i have the cd maxi single and it contains a 4:26 version which is the "radio style" mix.........the database should state that the cassingle version is the "ultimix club" version which runs 7:08

FYI:
Just heard a version of this song labeled 'clean radio mix'. In the radio mix, he sings "where the body at." In the 'radio style mix', he sings "where the booty at." In fact, in the clean radio mix, 'body' is sung anywhere 'booty' is sung in the radio style mix. |

That "Clean Radio Mix" is on the CD maxi single. It would seem likely that it was on a promo CD, too; however, my 3-track promo CD (WRAP Records CD-150) doesn't have that mix.

my cassingle issued as toy 162 contains, on the A-side, the "ultimix club" version which lists as 7:08, and the "ultimix radio" version which lists as 4:36....the vinyl 45 has a different catalog number than the cassingle and the catalog number listed in billboard magazine is for the cassingle....so in my estimation the 7:08 "ultimix club" version should be considered the single version....

I just obtained a promo CD that I had never seen before, so I'll post the details of both promo CDs that I have.
CD-150A 1. Radio Style (listed 4:26; actual 4:24) 2. Club Style (listed 6:05; actual 6:02) 3. Album Version (listed & actual 3:05) CD-150P 1. Ultimix Radio (listed 4:36; actual 4:37) 2. Party Mix (listed & actual 4:19) (this is the same as the "Clean Radio Mix" on the US maxi CD single) 3. Ultimix Club (listed 7:06; actual 7:08) 4. Club Style (listed 6:05; actual 4:24) 5. Radio Style (listed 4:26; actual 6:02) (given the timing discrepancy, I believe tracks 4 & 5 are accidentally swapped on the insert) 6. Album Version (listed & actual 3:05) |
