don't carry the song in my library.

I would classify the remix with Iggy as the hit.
Here's why...

The Pitbull version was on the AKA album when it was
released in June. Jennifer shot short minute teaser
vids for a few album cuts to launch the CD, one of
which was Booty. It seemed to garner the most
attention of those so Capitol decided to capitalize
(pun intended) on the attention and issue Booty as the
next single in remixed form with Azaleia since she was
a hot commodity with pop radio at that point. The
remix was placed on Itunes at end of September - the
same time as the new video featuring the ladies was
launched. That crucial combination was what got the
song onto the Hot 100 at #18 and gave it hit status.
