Time Life Great Rock N Roll Instrumentals

   Hello Group,

Yesterday, I stumbled across a Time Life Rock N Roll 

Era title that I've never seen before called "The 

Great Rock N Roll Instrumentals" at a store in 

Manhattan so I picked it up.  The CD is not listed in 

the database nor could I find a copy for sale on Ebay 

or listed in Discogs.  

I shared my findings with Ron who too said he also had 

never seen it before.  He noticed that all the tracks 

are included on Rhino's Rock Instrumental Classics 

series Vols. 1-5 (all 1994).  The Disc is mastered by 

Dennis Drake.  It is also the 51st title in the 

Rock N Roll Era Collection (4RNR-51) which I never 

received with my subscription. 

Anyhow, I think this disc should be added to the 

database.  

Ron actually found it listed one place online for 

those interested in the track listing.

	Wow. Interesting find. Most if not all of the tracks are duplicated on earlier volumes of the Rock N Roll Era series. I never understood why Time-Life handled their catalog this way--the worst offender being the Sounds of the Seventies series.
