This one peaked at #48, but are there two pressings of the cassette single for this song?
A note on the discogs listing states:
While the uncredited remix is the version on the promotional CD single (and many imports), I've never noticed a commercial single from the US with this version. The copy of the cassette single I have definitely matches the original version, first released on the 1992 Greatest Hits album. Edited by Underground Dub |

There's a similar notation under the cassette release on 45worlds:
Again, the cassette I have definitely contains the original version, not the remix. Edited by Underground Dub |

I was able to review another copy of the cassette single and it also had the album version on it.
Not sure how many here have the cassette or 45 but, if anyone is willing to check, you can identify the remixed version right from the top of the track. The album version begins with these piano chords: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jH4D6r9Q5z0 The uncredited remix begins with different piano chords as heard on the music video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=et9C32GMJQ4 Any info is greatly appreciated :) |
