Now That’s What I Call Music [UK]

As all of you know, the NOW series here in the US is almost near releasing its 75th volume. The UK Series however goes back all the way to 1983. The first 7 releases were on 2 LP's and with the 8th and 9th releases on single CD's (while the vinyl was issued still on 2 LP's) From the 10th release onward, the series has always been 2CD's of the current hits.

In 2019, Volumes 1-5 were released for the first time on CD. However the configurations on the original vinyl do not match 100 percent all the songs on the NOW 1-5 CD releases. The problem is that most of us here don't have dubs of the original NOW 1-5 to see if the songs are the same or what changed or know which version was on the LP but replaced on the CD's released last year.

So if anyone who reads or posts here has dubs of those albums, it would be interesting for Aaron or Ron to be able to compare and document it here.

I know that others might have compiled the differences, but some of us on the board have no way to verify it without knowing what version was on the 1983-1987 LP releases.

That also means we would need dubs of 6-9 since the 8 and 9 NOW UK Cd's do not match the LP releases, which contained more hits.

I know I can't be the only one interested in these older NOW releases....
