Although this 1959 Top 40 hit does not currently appear on a domestic CD, perhaps it may appear on an Import CD. I thought that offering up a correct timing could possibly assist in any current/future investigative efforts for this song. So, for what it's worth, my commercial 45 has a listed time of (1:53), but an actual time of (1:59).

It does appear on this cd: http://www.amazon.com/Golden-American-Popular-Music-Hard/dp/ B000FP2GS4
However my copy of the cd is currently boxed up and not easily accessable for the meantime. The time of 1:59 seems likely that it is just that on the cd, especially if they leased the mono 45 master from the US (i dont remember offhand if the cd listed a UK release for it or not, but at least one song on the cd was taken from a UK mono 45 master as the US has only a rechanneled master). Given that ACE (UK) is one label that tries to get the correct 45 versions whenever possible, and this being a mono-only recording, they may have been able to do so for this song. However I do know this cd uses the same old stereo version of Bless You by Tony Orlando that fades out well before the 45 does. |

Live in stereo.

I posted a few months ago that a number of hard-to-find Swan recordings, including 'Teasin'', are available on iTunes. Also available is Danny & The Juniors 'Twistin' U.S.A.' with better sound quality than on the Collectables CD.
'Teasin'' also appears on a U.S. CD Lost Masters (all Swan material) that I received as a freebie from DisCollector several years ago. My copy has a production error resulting in the first second or two being missing from every track (which is probably why it was a freebie). I don't know if this CD was ever commercially released. |

Just to add one final detail for this, the actual run time, from "The Golden Age Of American Popular Music" import CD is (1:58), just one second short of my 45's actual time.
