No. The LP version has an additional vocal ("come sing me now, come sing me Montego Bay") over where the 45 would've faded out, so you can't make the 45 out of the LP.
That probably sounded confusing. If I can clarify, ask away. |

Makes perfect sense, Doug. I know exactly which verse you are talking about.
Now, 2nd question. Is the Eric 6104 45rpm b/w Derek & The Dominoes the 45 version? Ok 3rd question, lol. Is the LR157 45rpm mono or stereo? |

The original single on the L&R label (Joey Levine & Artie Resnick) is mixed mono with a few differences.
The whistling is louder on the 45 mono mix with a fade out following the line "dance in the streets". Hope this helps. I have the Eric reissue but can't recall how it fades. I'll have to dig around for that one. Its another 45 version of a song NOT on cd. |

Yes, that's the LP version. The LP version has two extra lines sung before Bloom goes into the "Oklahoma!" tune, the first line is where the 45 fades (but that line isn't heard on the 45). The 45 version in CD quality sound has been on my want list for quite a while. |

Found the Eric 6104 reissue at a local brick and mortar.
Despite being highly compressed, it is in stereo and has a label time of 2:20. It is the 45 version. |

My original commercial 45 is NOT mono, but it is mixed in much narrower stereo than on my vinyl LP.
