My commercial 45 has a listed time of (3:38), but an actual time of (3:34). My 45 features an unusually long, very soft at the end, drawn out fade. This probably accounts for the difference between the 45's length and most of current database CDs, which feature slightly shorter run times, in the (3:27) to (3:30) range.

jim,
my vinyl 45 issued as warner 8319 has a stated run time on the label as 3:33 and runs 3:34.....when time permits, could you double check your vinyl 45, to make sure there are two different 45's with two different listed run times... |

Ed, there are copies of both 3:33 and 3:38 (printed) pressings on eBay
right now. I think it's safe to say there are two different pressings. |
