Our commercial copy of "Get A Job" (Ember 1029) states a time of (2:25) but actually runs (2:45).

Thanks, Paul, for the great info, as always. I also appreciate the fact that you're saving me some time and effort down the road, during the "2009/2010" part of my current "45 timings" marathon project. You are the man!

On the BSN forum, it was mentioned that the original Ember
for this song had no echo, yet many of the copies on CD do
have echo.

Can anyone assist in determining which database entries
match the 45 and which do not?

John, here are two "dry" CD sources without the echo:

O.S.T. - American Graffiti

Rhino's Doo Wop Box

On Rhino's Billboard's Top Rock & Roll Hits Of 1958 CD, "Get A Job" is bathed in reverb.

I have two Ember commercial 45s; one is a styrene Monarch job, the other a bottom-grade vinyl pressing from an unknown plant. Both are dry, although they don't sound alike (differing amounts of both bottom and top end.)
