I own two different commercial 45 copies for this, both confirmed as Parrot 40011. Both have listed times of (3:15) and an actual time of (3:17). Much to my surprise, one of my original 45 copies is in wide, perfect stereo, highly unusual for 1967, with machine-typed deadwax of "ZDR 39631", followed by a handwritten "-1". My other copy is mono, with handwritten deadwax of "DR 39631 (SH)". This is by far the earliest commercial London/Parrot 45 I know of. Off the top of my head, I can't recall another stereo stock Top 40 hit on London or an associated label appearing until ZZ Top's "Tush" in 1975, or perhaps an Al Green 45 on Hi that shortly preceded that one. Man, the things I stumble upon....

Weren't there a couple stereo 45s on London in '73? I almost want to say "Natural High" by Bloodstone might have been one of them. My copy's a promo, but ISTR a friend's stock copy being (at least labeled as) stereo. |

My 45 of "Natural High" was stereo, albeit much narrower stereo than the LP mix.
