   The actual commercial 45 run time of Bette Midler's "The Rose" is 3:33, not 3:36 as stated on the record label.  The exact moment where the final piano note fades to complete silence can be fairly difficult to pinpoint due to vinyl noise, but I analyzed the ending very carefully via my digital editing software and am comfortable with my concluded run time.
