My commercial 45, which is mono and confirmed as MGM/Kolob 14562, has both a listed and actual time of (2:10). I only post this info because all six of the current database CDs that include this song feature run times ranging at least :15 seconds longer than my 45 does, from (2:25) to (2:27), so it appears that further "version investigation" will be required to get to the bottom of this one.

Jim, thanks for forwarding me the mp3 of the 45 version of "Goin' Home. Yes there is a difference between the LP and the 45 and that entails a reprise which is added to the LP version that actually overlaps the fade of the 45. Every appearance on cd to date is the LP version.

So you can't simply fade the CD/LP version to get the 45
version (due to the short overlap)? |
