I'm curious to know which version is considered the official 45 version. I have four versions of the original mix of "This DJ" by Warren G.
Here are the promo CD details: CDP 1266 1. Radio Edit (3:23) 2. Radio Edit w/O.G. (3:25) 3. "Regulate" (Remix Version) (4:18) My commercial CD single has: 1. LP Version 2. Instrumental 3. Remix Version 4. "Regulate" (Remix Version) (I don't have this CD single accessible at the moment for timing details.) I also have the censored full-length Regulate... album. Here are the details on the different edits: - LP version has explicit lyrics - Clean LP version has alternate, censored lyrics - Radio Edit has the same alternate lyrics as the clean LP version, but they have muted some additional words like "smoke," "ass," and "sack." This version also removes the slowed-down, spoken part by O.G. - Radio Edit w/O.G. is the same as the Radio Edit, except, as you can probably guess, it has the slowed-down, spoken part by O.G. Which one is considered the 45 version? Edited by aaronk |

my commercial cassingle issued as violator/RAL 853236 states on both the cassingle and sleeve "lp version" (3:23)....which, by the way, is the dirty version....so the dirty lp version should be considered the single version...
