my commercial 45 for the volumes song "i love you" issued as chex 1002 states the run time as 2:30 but actually runs 2:35 like most of the db entries.....this 45 run time info s/b added to ethe db.....btw...the 45's label lists the group as "the volumes" while most of whitburn's books has then as "the volume's"

Ed, our original commercial copy shows the artist as The Volume's. The latest "Top Pop Singles" shows the artist credit as The Volumes (which matches your 45). We also have a trivia note: "first pressings show artist as The Valume's". So, that's at least three different ways the artist is shown! Edited by Paul Haney |
