Van Morrison-"Brown Eyed Girl"

My commercial 45, confirmed as Bang! 545, has a listed time of (2:53), an actual time of (2:55), and contains the "laughin' and runnin'" lyric. I only post this info because current database CDs with this lyric also included, run longer, between (2:59) and (3:02).

Steve, just to make 100% sure for you, I just quickly re-checked both of my original 1967 45s, including one copy with a "DJ Copy" stamp on it, and both do, in fact, include the "laughin' and runnin'" lyric on them. My deadwax info is exactly the same, "W10127", for both copies. What is your 45's deadwax info?

I guess I need further clarificaion here. I assumed as soon as I heard the "laughin' and runnin'" lyric, :26 into the song, that there was the determination. But upon just listening all the way through, I DO also hear the "makin' love in the green grass" lyric, later in the song, at the 2:17 mark. Steve, thanks for the tipoff that the "lyric difference issue" is apparently near the end of the song; I had never known that before. What, was there a 2nd instance of the "laughin' and runnin" lyric, inserted later in the song, that replaced the "makin' love in the green grass" lyric released somewhere? And if so, was it on a stock and/or promo 45 or LP? Help!

Many thanks for the file, Steve. When you say "it's mono on the LP", does that mean the version you just sent me was the same one that appeared on the original, Jan. 1967 "Blowin' Your Mind!" LP? I also know that Bang "re-packaged" their stuff from "since-departed-from-the-label" artists more than just about anyone else did. Or, could this version possibly have first seen the light of day on one of those "re-hashed" Bang LPs, since Pat doesn't denote "LP version" in the database for it. Any insight would be appreciated.

I've been living with a copy of this song from The Wonder Years, thinking that it was just a bad sounding recording. I just downloaded a copy from iTunes, and it's incredible how much better it sounds! Another thing I noticed about the Wonder Years copy (aside from the fact that it sounds like garbage) is that it runs at a slower speed.
