I've been trying to determine if the single version of this tune can be
gotten from editing any of the mono versions available. I took the version from Your Hit Parade 1959 (Time-Life HPD 13), and edited out from approximately 1:46 to 2:07, which brings it down to 2:58. The problem I'm having is that the original 45 that I'm using is in VG-- shape. So I'm asking, is the edit the only difference, or is there a difference in the mix? If anyone else has a good copy of the 45, I'd really like to know. Thanks. |

Yes, you can edit the 45 version from the YHP version. But it seems like you have to increase the volume after the edit point... seems like it grows a bit louder there on the 45.
