The situation with cookies and logins needs to be better sorted.

I am now unable to access the database because I just get an infinite redirect between SongSearch.asp and Log1.asp.

In Microsoft Edge, I get "This page isn’t working right now
www.top40musiconcd.com redirected you too many times.
Try deleting your cookies."

Indeed, deleting cookies is the only way to get around it, but I should never really have to do that.

Since our database credentials aren't the same as our forum credentials, the cookies for those logins need to be completely distinct. It might help to put the database on a separate subdomain like db instead of www, so that you can then divide the cookies to apply to each subdomain separately, but there's probably other ways to do it.

Every couple or three or so days, when I try to go to the database, I get the error:

The page isn't working

bla bla bla.

I took a screenshot.

All I have to do to "fix" is go to the homepage, Log out and log back in. It's no bother (once I stumbled on that solution), however it is indeed something that shouldn't happen.

I'm working with the developer on the redirects bug. I thought we had that fixed yesterday, but I see it again in Microsoft Edge. I usually use Google Chrome and haven't seen it appear in that browser, but if anyone has, please let me know.

The developer made another tweak that will hopefully stop the redirects issue. Please let me know if it pops up again.
