Has anyone determined if this CD is legit, from tape and
not clean vinyl: https://www.amazon.com/Collection-Yvonne- Elliman/dp/B0B6GHDT5Y/ref=sr_1_1? crid=2DMWVW2YUMTZ4&keywords=yvonne+elliman+cd&qid=1700903 393&sprefix=yvonne+elliman+c%2Caps%2C201&sr=8-1 Yvonne Elliman - Collection - it contains 2 albums and a Very Best Of. The label is listed as "Classics France" but the picture on the back of the CD says "Made in Switzerland". Also, the lack of info on the back sleeve (incl. who they licensed it from) makes this whole thing look suspicious. |

My two cents: I bought a cd from them a few years ago and all i can say is
it is the worst sounding cd i have ever owned - by far. |

Don't waste your $. I believe these CD releases are not even made in Switzerland. If you are a BSN member there are several threads on that forum where you can read up on other CD releases by this outfit and none of them are good reviews. |

Hi Gordon,
Reading through the reviews, several stand out as 1 star and one has this review - COMING DIRECTLY FROM VINYL, WITH LOTS OF SCRATCHES, QUALITY IS SUPERBAD! Makes me wonder if the 5 star reviews are somewhat fake. One is from a user named Grandmother & Auntie lol. |

I was thrilled when I saw last year that this company was
releasing a 4-CD set of Susan Jacks recordings: https://www.amazon.ca/Collection-Susan- Jacks/dp/B09QD2V6L9/ref=sr_1_1? crid=1YJJISCO3CBRC&keywords=susan+jacks+collection&qid=17011 89077&s=music&sprefix=susan+jacks+collection%2Cpopular%2C220 &sr=1-1 When the Amazon order arrived I was crushed to discover that it consisted mostly (if not entirely) of disc dubs. The set contains no licensing information. (The songs had initially been released on various labels and some only in Canada.) I was the first person to write an Amazon review. I don't recall whether I actually used the word 'bootleg', but when I checked back a few days later my review had been removed. I now see, however, that there are several reviews of which I see at least one contains the B-word. |

Slight correction gang - they qualify as Pirate's or Counterfeit's. Bootleg would be non-officially released material. Once the content has been available legit, then Pirate applies.
