This rocker hit Billboard at only #94, but in my store we sold 17 copies of the single most of which were before Billboard's debut date of 11/4/72. It must've been played somewhere on Chicago radio. The single has a stated time of 3:00, but in actuality is 3:02. The LP states 3:58 and does indeed run that length. This group evolved from the Peppermint Trolley Company and later became the Faragher Brothers. -Bill.

"Roberta" hit #19 on Chicago's WCFL chart.
BTW, "Stay The Night" by The Faragher Brothers is a personal favorite from 1979. |

Thanks Paul. I couldn't find my Ron Smith books, but I thought it was playing on one of Chicago's FM stations. We probably would've sold more except customers were coming in and asking for 'I Ain't Mad At You...', which is a prevalent line in the song. -Bill.
