Deniece Williams - Free

   I noticed the database has "45 version" for Deniece Williams' song "Free" on the CD This Is Niecy, but it runs (2:49).  Since the 45 version actually runs (3:25), is this perhaps the DJ edit?

	Yes that is correct, the "This Is Niecy" version that runs (2:49) is the dj edit.

	But, the dj edit is not the same as the commercial 45. When I bought the remastered CD, I was angry because what was there is wrong.

	Does the vinyl promo 45 short version actually run 2:49 (the only length digitally), or does it run 2:52 as labled in the database? Edited by eriejwg - 06 August 2025 at 9:25pm

	There have been two digital releases of an 'expanded edition' of the This Is Niecy album. One is similar to the physical version (with a version of "Free" described as 'single version' that is actually the promo 45 version), but the other contains another version of "Free" described as 'long single version' that is the actual commercial 45 version. This second version does not appear to have had a physical release.
