the version of the song "that was yesterday" by foreigner from the cd complete greatest hits fades in about 0:03 later and is NOT the same as the other 3:47 versions in the db.....this should be noted in the db..... |

Ed:
Are there any other differences in the song on the Complete Greatest Hits CD besides the later fade-in? |

The 45 (at least the dj copy) has the shorter introduction so I have modifed the entries in the data base to reflect this.

Does your commercial vinyl 45 copy have the shortened intro as well? |

NO...the 3:47 version is the 45 version....the 3:44 is faded in 0:03 shorter......the actual 45 version fades out at the 3:46 while the cd versions is a hard ending....but, either way the 3:44 is 0:03 short of the 45 version....

does anyone know if any of the cd's contain the proper single version...after re-reviewing this track, the version from "very best...and beyond" contains some music from the previous song.....but the 45 doesn't have this....
