does anyone know which cd, if any, contain the true correct 45 version of the song.....first off the songs fades out to the 3:08 mark while all the cd versions run a little longer....secondly...the cd version from "the singles" does not have the drum sticks clapping together before the whistle starts.....the 45 has a distinct drum sticks clapping together before the whistle starts......the cd "the singles" edited this off at the beginning.....do any of the other cd versions contain this drum stick clap?

My commercial 45 does not contain the drum sticks and vocal chatter in the background of the introduction. Matrix number is 45-502091A-Z2.

All the cd's in the database other than "The Singles 1969-1993" have the drum sticks and vocal chatter.

I've also heard a version that has the opening musical riff repeated twice while the version I have on "the singles" has it only once. Seems this could account for the different running times.
