the commercial 45 of supertramp's "my kind of lady" issued in 1983 as a&m 2517, states a running time on the label of 4:12 but it actually runs 4:06 and is an edit of the 5:12 full lp version.....

For the editors: The 45 version cannot be re-created by editing the LP version. There is a one second section of the song that is different on the 45.

It's at the part where there is a slight pause (after the first verse?). That part cannot be edited from the LP version.

Despite making it into the top 40 on Billboard's charts (#31), I didn't find this one in the database. My subscription is a few years old... has it been added? |
